EDAIC Part II · Written practice

Prepare for EDAIC Part II, one conversation at a time.

Prepare for EDAIC Part II with an AI interview in writing. Work through a fictional case, explain your reasoning and respond to follow-up questions — then use the feedback to plan your next revision session.

Text chat in English. No microphone or camera needed. Interviews are included with Basic and Pro.

A focused space for Part II practice

Follow-up questions

The AI probes the reasoning in your answer, within a structured case. Practise explaining a priority, defending a choice or recognising what you have missed.

Up to 25 minutes

Each written interview has a 25-minute limit and up to 10 answers. The timer continues if you leave the page; you can finish early when you are ready.

Feedback you can revisit

Review your submitted answers and qualitative feedback. Return to saved recent sessions to reflect on strengths, gaps and what to study next.

From a case to a clearer study plan

  1. Begin your interview

Open Part II in the platform and start a session using your available allowance. Your first question appears in the chat.

  2. Explain your reasoning

Type your answer in English. The interview moves through a structured set of prompts, with AI follow-ups based on what you actually wrote.

  3. Review and practise again

Finish the session to review your feedback. Choose a specific gap to revise, then practise saying your answer aloud or with a study partner.

Know what to work on next

The feedback describes the evidence in your answers. It is a learning aid, not an official score or a prediction of passing.

  • Knowledge and clinical reasoning
  • Safety and clarity of explanation
  • Concrete strengths, gaps and next study steps

Written practice for an oral exam

The official EDAIC Part II consists of four 25-minute oral examinations with examiners. AnesCORE offers individual written practice interviews. They help you organise your reasoning, but do not assess spoken delivery or replace practice with a person. Check ESAIC for the dates, language and delivery format of your chosen session.

AnesCORE is an independent educational platform, not affiliated with or endorsed by ESAIC. AI feedback can contain errors; verify clinical points against reliable sources.

Part II practice in your plan

Use the same AnesCORE account for your learning and written interview practice.

AnesCORE Basic

1 interview

In total per account

One written interview with Basic. This allowance does not reset when you renew or change your billing interval.

AnesCORE Pro

7 interviews

Per calendar month

Practise regularly with Pro. Your allowance resets on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC.

An active Basic or Pro plan is required. Previous interviews, including those started on Pro, count towards Basic's one-interview total. Starting a new interview uses an allowance slot.

Questions about the Part II simulator

Is this a voice or video interview?

No. This version is a written chat with an AI examiner. You type your answers in English. It does not record speech or video, and cannot assess spoken delivery.

Is one interview a full EDAIC Part II mock exam?

No. One AnesCORE interview is an individual written practice session of up to 25 minutes. The official oral examination has four separate 25-minute examinations. Use written practice alongside spoken viva preparation.

Will I get a pass or fail score?

You receive qualitative feedback on your submitted answers, including strengths, gaps and next steps. It is not an official examiner assessment, pass/fail decision or prediction of your exam result.

Can I use the simulator on Free?

Starting or continuing an interview requires an active Basic or Pro plan. Basic includes one interview in total per account; Pro includes seven per calendar month. Your saved history remains available.

Practise explaining, not just remembering.

Bring your knowledge into a structured conversation and leave with a specific next step for revision.
